I love when I walk away from a family photo session and feel like the family is just a little closer than they were before. I also love when I can capture some true emotions that are taking place during a session. It makes me feel like I am doing my job and happy with what I am able to get. This family was great to work with, and I could really feel and see how much they love each other. They also totally trusted me and let me drag them all over the place, which wins them extra brownie points. Thank you for letting me in your life for a bit.

Apple Picking | Cecil County Family Photographer
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of spending the evening with this adorable family at a local orchard. These boys are as sweet as they are cute, and being a mom of two boys myself I really felt like I was in my element chasing these two charmers around. The family was up for anything, and just went with the flow. I am so glad we were able to get these pictures while the fall was still upon us. I love the fall!

On the Farm {Rising Sun Family Photographer}
I met this adorable family out at their farm. It was the perfect setting, with a lot of fun textures and colors. The kids were totally comfortable in their familiar setting, and they loved being in front of the camera. As you can see, the camera loved them as well. They are such a great looking family, and fun to work with.

Travis and Kelli | Hunt Valley Golf Club
I had actually not met them before the wedding date. Kelli, Travis and I made arrangements over several phone calls and e-mails. The thing that they continually told me was how very important their family and friends were to both of them. They wanted the love they had for each other and for their family to be well documented. I could tell they were a perfect bride and groom.
The morning of the wedding, I sat in the parking lot of Kelli's hotel. It then hit me, I was going to be photographing my first wedding and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. However, my mind was put to ease as I was greeted by Kelli with a big hug. She was surrounded by her lovely bridesmaids who were just as accepting of me, this new person in such an intimate setting. What I didn't expect was the emotion I got as my new beautiful friend was walking down the aisle. As I pushed back the tears, I saw the immense love that these two share with each other as they became one. I truly enjoyed being with them and all of the friends and family that were there. So much love shared on such a special day. Thank you so much Kelli and Travis for taking a chance on me. I had a lot of fun and feel truly honored to had been a part of your day.
I was so grateful to Rachel for taking the groom/groomsman pictures while I was with the bride and her bridesmaids.

A Family With Girls { Cecil County Family Photographer}
Look at this adorable family! They are such a sweet little family. Being a mom of boys, I get a kick out of hanging out with so many little girls. The rain held out just long enough for us to capture their adorable smiles.

Beautiful High School Senior {Cecil County Photographer}
This is part two of this gorgeous lady's pictures. We were rained out the last time, so we made sure to schedule this in when the weather would be more on our side. And we succeeded! I can't say this enough, I love working with High School seniors, they are a blast. Thanks Sam, I had a great time!

Family Fall Portraits {Cecil County}
I absolutely LOVE fall, especially around here in Cecil County. I love the all the smells, the pumpkin picking, the hayrides and all the other fun things that come with the season. Fall is just around the corner, so now is time to schedule those family portraits. I am just finishing up my portfolio building prices, so now is an even better time to get those family pictures. If you schedule before November 1st your session fee will be waived. That's a $75.00 value! Fall is such a popular time for portraits, so slots will fill up fast.

Beautiful Senior (Cecil County Photographer)
Not only is she beautiful, but she's smart, funny, athletic and a million other great things. This pretty lady has the whole package and was so much fun to work with. I always have so much fun with high school seniors. We got our session cut short due to crazy rain and the sun setting, so we're going to grab a few more shots in a few weeks. Thanks Sam for making my job so much fun!

High School Senior Pictures {Cecil County}
I am so happy to be working with this girl this year as my Senior Class Rep for Class of 2012. We went to a local park, with a lot of charm and endless possibilities. We had a blast taking pictures and exploring the grounds. This was my second Senior Shoot, and I fell in love even more with doing this. The thing I love about working with High School Seniors is that they are up for anything. They are at that exciting time in their lives, where the world is changing all around them and there is so much ahead of them. I get so excited for them, and want to capture that in the pictures that will represent this time of their lives. Here are just a sampling of the shots we took. She is so beautiful in all the pictures we took.

Sibling Portraits
Such adorableness from these two cuties. This cute little girl was a perfect little model, always willing to "strike a pose". Her younger brother was the opposite, literally running from the camera. But, I still caught him a few times. The two of them adore each other and were so fun to photograph.

A lot of SPUNK!!!
A couple weeks ago, I got to spend the evening chasing this little beauty around. She went from not wanting her picture taken to full on model mode. We had a lot of fun and got to capture some sweet pictures as well.
One fun thing is that she gets to wear her mom's wedding dress every year around her birthday, as a fun way to watch her grow into a young lady. I think it's a great idea. Much better than my wedding dress sitting in a box in my closet.

Sweet Baby N
This little angel seriously won me over. He's as sweet and beautiful as they come. He's the first born into a wonderful family, and I was honored to spend time with the three of them to capture his sweetness.
